Mahanta Sri Sri Ramkrishnananda Deva Goswami Prabhupada

He was born in 1775 AD and became the eleventh Mahanta of the Sri Sri Shyamanandi Gaddi after the disappearance of his father, Sri Sri Trivikramananda Deva Goswami Prabhupada, in 1827 AD. The British rulers in those days continued the same policy, as established by the previous Muslim rulers, favouring the Mahanta. He had two wives: Srimati Vrindavati Devi was the elder and Srimati Udiya Devi was the younger. The first son of the elder wife had lived only for six days. The second son, Sri Sri Anandananda Deva, lived only for six years. In 1839 AD she delivered the third son, Sri Sri Sachchidananda Deva. Sri Sri Sachchidananda Deva was married to "Kanchana Devi," of the village Gourdanda nearer of Remuna. He had a son called "Sri Sri Sarveshvarananda Deva" and a girl called "Srimati Chandravali Devi." He left the body at the age of 22 on the eleventh luner day of the bright fortnight of the month of Bhadra in the year 1861 AD while his father was still alive.

Sri Sri Ramkrishnananda Prabhupada also had two daughters, with his elder wife:, name Srimati Chand Devi and Srimati Lavanya Devi. With his younger wife, he fathered Sri Sri Vishvambharananda Deva, Srimati Padmavati Devi, Srimati Chitrotpala Devi and Sri Sri Sandrananda Deva. He disappeared from this world on the tenth lunar day of the bright fortnight of the Chaitra month of 1863 AD.
