Mahanta Sri Sri Trivikramananda Deva Goswami Prabhupada

He was born in 1750 AD and became the tenth Mahanta of the Sri Sri Shyamanandi Gaddi after the disappearance of his father, Sri Sri Gokulananda Deva Goswami Prabhupada. Fourteen of his poems in Bengali, Oriya and Maithili have been found so far. His Oriya poem entitled "Sri Vrindavan Pada-kalpa-taru" and his Poetic translation of Sri Sri Rasikananda Prabhu's "Sri Sri Shyamananda-shatakam" are very dear to the devotees. His first wife gave him a daughter named Srimati Radha Devi and soon passed away. Afterward, he married to Srimati Draupadi Devi. His second wife also passed away soon, after giving birth to a daughter called Srimati Lalita Devi. He married third time and was again blessed with a daughter Srimati Jema Devi, who soon passed away. Under these circumstances he married fourth time with Srimati Kumkuma Devi, with whom he had two sons, Elder was Sri Sri Madhusudanananda Deva and the younger was Sri Sri Ram Krishnananda Deva. Sri Sri Madhusudanananda Deva left for the eternal abode, at the tender age of 22 when his father Mahanta Sri Sri Trivikramananda Deva was still alive. Mahanta Sri Sri Trivikramananda Deva Goswami Prabhupada disappeared on the twelfth lunar day of the Chaitra month of 1827 AD.
