Mahanta Sri Sri Vrindavanananda Deva Goswami Prabhupada

Mahanta Sri Sri Vrindavanananda Deva Goswami Prabhupada was born in 1660 AD. He became the seventh Mahanta of the Sri Sri Shyamanandi Gaddi after the disappearance of Mahanta Sri Sri Govindananda Deva Goswami Prabhupada. He was the middle son of the Mahanta Sri Sri Nayanananda Deva Goswami Prabhupada. The Muslim Emperor, Gaji Abdul Fateh Muhammad Nasir Uddin, issued documents acknowledging Sri Sri Vrindavanananda Deva Goswami Prabhupada as Mahanta of the Sri Sri Shyamanandi Gaddi in Sripat Gopiballavpur and ordered to the landlords and his officers that the old policy regarding the share offered to the Mahanta should continue. In exchange, the Emperor only sought the Mahanta's blessings.

Sri Sri Vrindavanananda Prabhupada had two sons: the elder was Sri Sri Vaishnavananda Deva and the younger was Sri Sri Subalananda Deva. However, according to another account, he had three sons named Sri Sri Suryananda Deva, Sri Sri Premananda Deva and Sri Sri Vadanananda Deva. He disappeared on the third lunar day of the bright fortnight of the Pausha month of 1748 AD.
